About Me

^ Trevi Fountain, Italy 2016

During the past six years, my work experience has focused on solving design problems through conducting research, collaborating with stakeholders, creating dynamic solutions, and preparing thorough presentations. My passion for design and all things creative began at a very young age.
I earned a BFA degree with Honors in Graphic Design from Daemen University. After graduating, I worked in the design and marketing field for a few years and eventually discovered that I was particularly interested in web-based design. Expanding my skillset in the User Experience and User Interface field was the next logical step for my career path. So in 2021, I enrolled in an intensive UI/UX Design program at the University of New Hampshire and received my certification in June 2022. To further enhance my skills in this area, I also completed the SheCodes Basics and Plus courses for foundational coding knowledge.
With my new technical knowledge in UI/UX Design, I have greater and up-to-date industry skills. I am proficient in a variety of programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD, along with Figma, InVision, Miro, and Marvel. I also have a foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
The UI/UX field is fascinating to me; there are so many opportunities for businesses to effectively interface with e-commerce users, giving them a positive experience through really great designs. I’m always eager to see where my next project will take me!
Apart from my work, I enjoy traveling, hiking, painting, and zumba classes. My husband and I have two cats, one was an abandoned kitten who adopted us one cold winter evening! We enjoy working out at the YMCA, trying new local restaurants, going to Buffalo Bills games, and entertaining friends and family.
